JEHO YUN

JEHOYUN has been exploring the structures and nature of tactile space created through the combination of silhouettes and sound, focusing on the meanings of lines. In 線 III LINE (for structure), introduced in the exhibition, YUN uses patterns he found in Hwaseong Fortress's structure as visual material and brings in digitally modified and expanded excerpts of Joseon's traditional music as acoustic material, connecting the past with the present. YUN's work enables the viewers to experience the sublime temporal spectrum from the past to the present through order and chaos, expansion and condensation, repetition and irregularity.
